Opening Prayer
Lord God, mercifully receive the prayers of your people. Help us to see and understand the things we ought to do, and give us grace and power to do them; through your Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.

that you have kept me this night from all harm and danger.
I ask you to keep me this day, also, from sin and every evil,
that my thoughts, words, and deeds may serve and please you.
Into your hands I commend my body and soul and all things.
Let your angel be with me,
that the evil one have no power over me. Amen
