Albert Einstein said,

‘If you can't explain it simply, you don't understand it well enough.’

This applies to scientists,

but it also applies to theologians as well.

Theologians are fond, perhaps overly fond,

of showing their erudition by using big words

and complex phrases.

But if they cannot explain the concepts simply,

or at least make sure the people know the big words

and the complex phrases,

they may not understand the subjects well enough.

And what they know is of no use to the people.
